Cuối cùng cho hành lá, bột dừa khô vào trộn đều lẫn nữa. Cho vỏ bắp vào lò vi sóng quay chừng 1 phút cho mềm. Đặt 2 vỏ bắp kề nhau, cuộn lại như hình cái phễu.
Múc xôi vào, sau đó túm lại. Bắc xửng nước sôi, cho vào hấp chừng 10 phút là chín.
Món xôi bắp mặn khi ăn rắc thêm chút hành phi sẽ rất ngon.
